 William’s Chalk the Walk

Takes place at the Blue Point Preserve on a Saturday at the end of September of each year. It is a beautiful day of celebration,  full of art, family, friends, music, and love. Hundreds of attendees design their 4' x4' area of sidewalk with chalk pastels with creative
drawings, inspirational sayings, and hopeful messages. Participants gather to admire the artwork of their
friends, neighbors, and guest artists as well as dance to the DJ’s tunes, eat at the food trucks, bid on raffle prizes donated by
generous local businesses, and paint at the arts & crafts tables.
Our goal is twofold:
1) to raise money for pediatric brain cancer research in an effort to find a cure, and
2) to improve the quality of life for pediatric cancer patients by donating art supplies to pediatric
cancer units and by creating individualized art therapy kits for children suffering from cancer.
Each year the event grows and we hope that you will join us! Stay tuned for details about the 7th Annual William's Chalk the Walk!
Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a sponsor, donating a raffle basket, or becoming a volunteer
